Sila Services, the home services platform with over 30 brands primarily in the Northeast, this week partnered with Interplay Learning to virtually upskill its 1,200+ technicians.
The big picture: Sila is the third multi-state contracting business to publicly partner with Interplay in the past 13 months, following Peterman Brothers and Southern Home Services.
Details: Interplay provides 3D equipment simulations for training technicians, among other products, and personalizes training pathways based on skill levels.

It also enables technicians to obtain EPA, NATE, and other certifications.
What they’re saying: Sila plans to integrate Interplay with its learning management system, creating a central tool for its in-house trainers to be “agile and responsive to training requests and needs,” Eddie McFarlane, Sila’s Chief Learning and Development Officer, tells Homepros.
The bottom line: The companies say that taking a mobile approach “reduces reliance on location-specific training and dependence on senior technicians and managers.”
