HARDI and Distro, a software platform for wholesale distributors, have teamed up to launch AskA2L, an interactive chat tool aimed at providing the industry with accurate, real-time information on all things A2Ls.
The big picture: The transition to A2L refrigerants hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park — it’s come with complexity, legal jargon, and even confusion.
Details: AskA2L will use artificial intelligence to answer questions regarding the transition, considering factors like “location, product category, volume, recent legislation, and more,” HARDI’s Connor Pilbeam told Homepros.
- For example, contractors can ask, “When is the last date I can install R-410A systems in my state?” or “What requirements are there in my area for transporting A2Ls?”
- Initially, AskA2L will be free to use.
💭 Our thought bubble: HARDI and Distro’s rollout timing is good, given a handful of recent developments and the resulting uncertainties.
- What are your biggest, unanswered questions regarding the transition? Let us know.
What’s next: AskA2L is now available on HARDI’s website — here.
This article was updated on March 27th to reflect the March 26th launch of AskA2L.
