Business Development Resources (BDR), the HVAC-industry coaching group, last week announced it’s acquiring decade-long marketing partner BxB Media, a full-service agency. Deal terms weren’t disclosed.

The big picture: The acquisition expands BDR’s offerings, enabling a more holistic approach to serving contractors.

  • “Imagine your doctor, pharmacist… and nutritionist all existing under one roof and talking throughout the week about how to help you meet your health goals. That’s exactly what BDR is becoming with this acquisition,” BDR told Homepros in an email.

  • “Your company’s marketing KPIs and results should all tie back to the business goals and objectives,” it added.

What’s happening: BxB Media will continue operating under BDR, with the combined company boasting nearly 200 employees.

  • “With BDR and BxB Media coaches working together… you no longer have to question if a marketing agency fits with what your coaching organization is consulting you on, or vice versa,” the email noted.

  • “Your business coach will help you build the implementation plan, and your marketing coach will help you execute.”

Of note: The announcement confirmed upcoming new products, though details weren’t disclosed.

  • “The acquisition positions us to leverage combined expertise and resources to accelerate innovation and enhance our product/service offerings,” it said.

The bottom line: “By combining our strengths and expertise, we are poised to deliver even greater solutions, helping businesses across the country continue to drive profit and growth,” said Bruce Wiseman, BDR’s CEO.
