Lennox is officially entering the U.S. residential water heating market.
What’s happening: The company announced last week that its new line of water heaters, produced through a joint venture with Italian manufacturer Ariston Group, will be available for dealer orders beginning March 16.
- “Every model features heavy‑gauge steel construction and a PermaClad glass lining for strong, reliable corrosion protection,” the announcement stated.
- Select models also include a magnesium or aluminum anode rod paired with Lennox’s “SediMotion system to help reduce sediment buildup,” as well as other features, it added.
- Representatives for Lennox didn’t return a request for comment.
Catch up quick: Lennox and Ariston Group first announced their partnership in May 2025, aimed at bringing a “competitive product portfolio of residential water heaters to homeowners in the United States and Canada.”
- Italy-based Ariston, a global water heater manufacturer, has been active in North America since 2016.
What they’re saying: “Our expansion into water heating is a natural evolution of Lennox’s commitment to delivering total home comfort,” Sarah Martin, president of Lennox Home Comfort Solutions, said in a statement.
- “Dealers and homeowners have been asking for a complete comfort offering from Lennox, and we’re proud to introduce solutions built on trusted innovation, high efficiency, and the exceptional service Lennox is known for,” she added.
