Home services marketplace StreetFair partners with Jobber

A new home services marketplace, StreetFair, recently partnered with software company Jobber, Homepros is told. 

The big picture: Launched in 2022, StreetFair has entered the mix as a marketplace connecting contractors with homeowners, leveraging route density as its advantage. 

How it works: Homeowners use StreetFair’s app to see which contractors are scheduled to perform service in their neighborhood.

• If a homeowner’s AC goes out in the morning, for example, they can book the contractor that’ll already be on their street later that day.

• “[J]obs are automatically shared to a neighborhood’s ‘Happening Soon’ page for other neighbors to see and join, increasing the likelihood of multiple bookings in the same area,” the company said. 

What’s happening: The companies are integrating, allowing jobs on a contractor’s schedule in Jobber to be shared with a neighborhood through StreetFair.

• “By integrating with Jobber, we’re making it easier than ever for service providers to book more jobs within a single neighborhood,” said Teddy Fitzgibbons, StreetFair’s CEO. 

• “This integration helps businesses not only manage their jobs but also access more opportunities with no additional overhead,” he added.

Of note: StreetFair only sends jobs to the contractor a homeowner selects, unlike Angi and Thumbtack, which often share lead opportunities with multiple contractors.   

• Contractors pay StreetFair between 6-8% of each completed job, rather than paying upfront for leads that may not convert.

• In other words, a $1,000 job will cost $60 to $80 — after the work’s done. 

What’s next: Currently available in Charlotte, NC, and Dallas, TX, StreetFair plans to expand to additional cities. 

• The Jobber integration is live, and StreetFair can also integrate, via Zapier, with other CRMs, including ServiceTitan.
