Private equity firm Permira has agreed to buy a majority stake in Flint Group, the companies announced Thursday.
What’s happening: The deal values the residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical platform at more than $1.5 billion, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources — and comes roughly two months after Homepros first reported that the company was exploring a sale.
- Flint generated over $400 million in revenue in 2025, up more than threefold from 2022, according to regional business publication Ingram’s, though current annualized revenue and EBITDA figures couldn’t be ascertained.
A representative for Flint Group declined to comment. Permira pointed Homepros to a news release when asked for comment.
Zoom out: Founded in 2019 and based in Kansas City, Missouri, Flint Group has partnered with 20 residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical businesses across 15 U.S. markets, from Washington State to Florida.
