The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) in late October announced a series of awards at its annual conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
What’s happening: Three honors recognized those in plumbing:
- Ashley Stroud of Plumbing Outfitters in Taylor, Texas, was declared the 2025 Plumbing Contractor of the Year. Go deeper
- Valerie Butler of Indiana, a former Marine, was named the 2025 Plumbing Apprentice of the Year. Go deeper
- And Cody Schroeder of South Dakota, who runs contractor Midwestern Mechanical’s in-house training program, is the 2025 Plumbing Instructor of the Year. Go deeper
The big picture: PHCC’s conference, which brings together HVAC and plumbing professionals for education, networking, and industry recognition, will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, next year.
