Rheem last week announced an expansion of its hydronics portfolio, introducing three new high-capacity products, including boilers, designed to meet demand for larger residential and light commercial applications.
The move scales up the company’s existing FT Series Boiler platform, which launched last year.
The big picture: The high-efficiency hydronic heating market is growing, as commercial facilities and large residential properties transition away from standard tanks to cut operating costs and comply with government regulations.
Zoom in: Rheem’s expanded lineup includes three new products: The FT Series Combi Boiler; FT Series high-capacity boilers — 260k and 399k BTU/hr models — and new STID Indirect Tank MAX models, part of the company’s stainless steel indirect water heater line.
Catch up quick: The rollout follows an expansion from earlier this year, when the company showcased over 15 new residential and commercial solutions at the AHR Expo in Las Vegas.
